That might be a lot to hope for, but maybe we can stick to manageable ones. It's been a while since we've had something hit this high on the scale.

[Honestly, for all the chaos that life often throws at them, this is probably the worst thing they've gone through since Isaac came back. That's a decent amount of time, at least.]

I think I'm actually fine with only twice in a lifetime. That was enough.

[And he's not even considering his own life here, mostly just the fact this is the second time he's almost lost a member of the Howell family. Something he certainly can't handle.]
